Microsoft released an hotfix, designed to resolve an issue in which users running Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and earlier experience crashes when also having McAfee Endpoint Encryption installed. “You have a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. This computer has encryption software installed. Occasionally, the computer crashes and you receive a Stop error message on a blue screen. The Stop error message resembles the following: STOP: 0x000000E3 (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) | RESOURCE_NOT_OWNED. This issue may occur when the computer has McAfee Endpoint Encryption installed.
